Lighting Up

The past couple of days have been the darkest mid-Autumn Festival time in Hong Kong for years. Every time I think about it, I can't help asking myself "why? why ? why ? why? " I console myself with the reflection that perhaps some of those departed may now have gone on to another world, one free from tears and sorrows. If there is such a world, then as a token of my tribute to them, I offer them, especially the children amongst them,  these festival photos of what would otherwise have brought them a tiny measure of joy on that fateful night.

A heart-shape bouquet

Two horses and flowers.

flowers, fruit, butterfly birds, fishes and rabbit

More fruit

curious prancing rabbits

Two more rabbits

Foxes and birds.

Two geese and chicks

Cokerels

a lion

a little boy

Ox cart and fruit

Yellow flowers

Orange flowers

pumpkins

A mad jumble of everything.

Everybody all together

A family in fun

Can you see them? It might be night but aren't you glad there's still some light?
