Saturday Fun (週末歡趣)

Have been doing "photography" for more than a year now but somehow still don't feel like what I'm doing is truly "photography". What then or who then will qualify as a "Photographer"? Here're some answers I found on the internet.

You're a photographer IF

1.   You have nightmares of people using the “P mode” let alone the “green mode.”  That’s just too scary.

2.  30,000 family photos neatly categorized in Lightroom.  Zero photos of you.

3.  When at a car dealership, you translate the price of a car in your head to “Seven 5D Mark III’s.”  Your last power bill cost two monopods.

4.  Touchdown plays are somewhat distracting because you can see the white glass on the sidelines

5.  You are frequently greeted with “What are you taking a picture of?!?” instead of “hello.”

6.  You’d rather buy the shirt that more closely resembles 18% gray

7.  Your carry-on is heavier than your checked bags

8.  You describe disgusting old dilapidated sheds and tumble down huts as “beautiful” 

9.  Number of lenses > Pairs of shoes you own

Now I know for sure why I am NOT a photographer! But that won't stop me from continuing to enjoy that heavenly "clicking" sound the moment I press on the button of my cameras, whatever the outcome may be.

The sun has finally come out after days of rain, mist and fog. What am I doing still inside the house ?
