One never ceases to be amazed at the endless creativity of man. It takes a very special kind of man to have the talent, the courage and the will to create.
Here're some of the creations I enjoyed.
A simplified "tree" or plant with its "shadow" on the ground by Zadok Ben-David.

A tree within a circle
Another encircled tree with its shadows at the bottom, framed.
A third tree within a circle, with its shadows.
A different tree with shadows
Free standing tree with its shadow with a flower to its left.
Another enframed tree..
The backs of branch-filled backs of men with its miniature.
More men walking away from each other or looking for things on the ground. Is the figure second from the right a man or an animal ?

The reflection of the tree looks like the root. May be the art piece has it's double meaning.
回覆刪除[版主回覆05/21/2012 10:51:50]For some trees, maybe, not for all. Once an art work is published, it has a life of its own. The "art" no longer resides entirely within the work itself although its creator still has some residual control in the way he shapes his art piece. In a sense, it belongs as much to the imagination of the spectator as to its creator who can only "guide" but not dictate how his work "must" be viewed.
really like the tree within the circle, it is beautiful
