Went to a very unusual exhibition at the annexe to the City Hall a couple of days ago. It's an exhibition by the City Planning and Development Department.
I like the color arrangement at the exhibition: all primary colors. Here blue and white
.
The walls are full of simple straight lines, like those of Mondrian's paintings but it got something more, the use of additional lighting effects. Here red and yellow.
more red and yellow
charcoal grey, red, yellow and purple
Here, white, beige, blue and red
white and vermillion
yellow and green
yellow green and blue
Children play area with interactive features
Some simplified models in white
The lighting on the staircase landing
I like the way they use lighting to introduce a sense of movement to break the monotony.

[版主回覆08/25/2012 05:33:29]You're right. There were far too many people crowding the miniature section showing in mini size various typical housing and living conditions of people in HK in various ages of HK's development. Otherwise I could photograph them. But will do so on another visit.
Beautiful color arrangement, love it! seems like is a pretty interesting exhibition, so sad miss it again, wonder is there any fun exhibition in late Nov to early Dec, planned to back to hk during that time.
