I know that Christmas is around the corner. But still it's an entirely different matter when you see it right before your eyes. I had to attend to some business in the Times Square area today and got a slight shock when I arrived.

Even before 5 p.m., it's already quite crowded.

One in which we give freely of our love because we know we have just received it as a gratuitous gift from someone who loves us. It's an annual resurrection of the spirit of giving and of joy.
