Earlier this year, I visited the newer hotels of Macau and was astounded by the marvelous work on lighting done by the architects and interior decorators there. On Sunday, I re-visited the hotels again. The reason? My interest in The "House of Dancing Water" having been piqued by fellow blogger, I had to go where it was being performed. I could never get enough of the lights there, whether the lights were ceiling lights.
Or side lights
Whether they are lights emitted from the inside of various rooms
or partly ceiling light and partly side lights
or light behind curtain from the floor .
or whether they are the lights from the ceiling or the side of the wall reflected on the the polished surface of the floor tiles
or whether they are light reflected on the wall from certain movable lighting fixtures on the floor whose color might change from pink
to orange
to gold
to yellow
to green
To blue .
and finally to purple and then back again to pink in and then back again in an endless rondo of colors
The colors of the movable ground lighting fixtures are synchronized with those from the ceiling and side walls such that when it is purple from the side, it is light blue from the movable ground lighting fixtures
when it is orange-yellow from the side, it is purplish blue from the ground lighting fixtures
when it is brownish yellow from the side wall, it is pale yellow from the ground lighting fixtures
when it is yellowish brown from the side, it is bluish green from the movable ground lighting fixtures
or purple
When it is yellowish brown from the side, it is whitish yellow from the movable ground lighting fixture
or green.
The lights and the various geometric shapes as well as the reflections come together so well in your photos. Good work. Thanks for your sharing!

This must be the Venetian Hotel. Thanks for showing this wonderland of myriad shades.

Only two of them were taken from the food mall on the first floor of the Venetian. If you saw "House of Dancing Water", you must have passed along the same corridors.
wow, what a warm and happy color.

Thank you El Zorro for sharing these dream-like colors. They are just wonderful! ^_^
